AUSIS provides state-of-the-art science laboratories designed to foster curiosity and hands-on learning. Our facilities for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology allow students to connect theory with real-world applications, inspiring critical thinking and scientific understanding.
Physics Laboratory
The AUSIS Physics Laboratory provides students with opportunities to explore the principles of motion, energy, and forces through hands-on experiments. Equipped with modern tools and measuring devices, students study electricity, optics, and mechanics in a safe and engaging environment. These experiences help bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application, encouraging curiosity and scientific reasoning.
All undergraduates attend Yale College, an intimate learning environment offering instruction in the liberal arts and sciences.
Chemistry Laboratory
Our Chemistry Laboratory allows students to investigate the structure and behavior of matter through guided experimentation. Well-equipped with essential instruments, glassware, and safety systems, the lab promotes accurate observation and safe practice. Students conduct experiments that highlight concepts such as reactions, mixtures, and chemical change, strengthening their understanding of how chemistry shapes everyday materials and processes.
Biology Laboratory
The AUSIS Biology Laboratory supports inquiry-based learning through direct observation and experimentation. Using microscopes, slides, and biological models, students study the structure and function of living organisms. Lessons focus on exploring cells, genetics, and ecosystems, encouraging a scientific appreciation for the diversity of life and the interconnectedness of natural systems.
Student Research Activities at AUSIS
Scientific inquiry is central to AUSIS learning. Each lab session encourages collaboration, accuracy, and respect for scientific processes.
